No Referral Necessary

Unlike medical specialists, you do not need a referral from your dentist to see an Orthodontist. Dr. Gina Ball is a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Straightening the teeth is only a small part of what we can do with Orthodontic treatment. We can also align the jawbones, anticipating growth and development, and create a stable and healthy bite.

As specialists in our field, we offer a wide range of orthodontic solutions including early (Phase I) treatment, traditional metal and clear braces, self-litigating braces, lingual (Incognito™ – inside) braces, Invisalign®, retainers, as well as surgical treatment.

How it Works

Initial Exam

The patient, or the parent if the patient is a minor, will be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire. Dr. Ball will then carry out an assessment and advise you if orthodontic treatment is required.  The Initial Exam appointment is usually 15-20 minutes long.

Records Appointment

If treatment is required, a Records Appointment will follow the Initial Exam.  At this appointment, photographs of the face and teeth will be taken along with molds of the teeth and x-rays. The Records Appointment takes about one hour to complete.

Consult Appointment

At the consult appointment, Dr. Ball will highlight areas of concern and discuss the treatment options. Detailed information about the orthodontic treatment plan will be provided and we will outline what to expect during orthodontic treatment as well as payment options. This appointment is usually an hour in length.

What is the benefit of Orthodontics?

A beautiful smile is just one of the benefits orthodontics has to offer. Bringing teeth, lips and jaws into proper alignment not only produces a great smile, but a healthy one as well. Straight teeth simply function better and are easier to clean.
